23 December 2020

Dear students,

The year 2020 has not been an easy year. Within a few days it was necessary to completely change our habits and behaviour and adjust to the uneasy situation.

The situation with Covid-19 in the world is not getting better, rather it is getting worse. This is why we would like to appeal on you to follow the protective measures introduced to fight against the spread of the Covid-19 disease, both in the halls of residence and outside of them.

We understand that the time during Christmas and the New Year’s Eve is likely to be difficult for you, but we can only stop this disease if behaving responsible. This is why we would like to appeal on you to follow the rules of social distancing and wearing face masks, in particular (but not only) during Christmas and New Years’s Eve. We request that there are not organised any group celebrations of Christmas and the New Year in the halls of residence. Organisation and participation in any possible events like this would be seen as serious violance of the Accommodation Contract and as such would lead to an immeadiate expulsion of the participant from the accommodation in the halls of residence.

We thank you very much for following the quarantine rules and for your disciplined, responsible and respectful behaviour. We will make it together!

Dear students, I most cordially wish to you – despite the circumstances and all the difficulties – a merry Christmas, a lot of health, happiness, optimism, spirit and fullfilling of all your resolutions in the hopefully already healthy year 2021.

Let us wish together for the year 2021 to be a good, prosperous and joyful year.
