The Czech Republic imposed a uniform local accommodation tax from 1st January 2020 to improve taxation of the sharing economy.

The levy will amount to a maximum of 50 Czech koruna (per person per night, as of Jan. 1, 2020 for each and every stay shorter than 60 nights.
