Check in - what to bring with you

Dormitory check-in

Please note that the arrival date indicated on the accommodation reservation is the mandatory date of arrival at the dormitory.

Check in is carried out by the Accommodation office of the dormitory. Office hours are on working days from Monday to Friday. Office hours here

Check-In Period:

You may check in between September 11 and September 30, 2025, during the official office hours of the dormitory accommodation offices. More information here: https://kam.cuni.cz/KAMEN-226.html

Please note that the check-in date stated in your Accommodation Agreement is binding. If you are unable to arrive on the scheduled date, you must inform the accommodation office of your assigned dormitory at least 3 working days in advance to arrange a new check-in date.

What to bring for check-in:

• A valid personal identification document (ID card, passport, valid visa or long-term residence permit for foreigners if applicable)

• Proof of study or university admission letter (can be submitted later, by the end of September)

• One passport - sized photo (35mm x 45mm)

• Sufficient funds on your payment card to cover the accommodation fee for September and October

(We recommend online payment in advance or card payment at the accommodation office. Cash payment is also possible if needed.)

• Student ID card (usually ISIC) – used for access to dormitory entrances. If you do not yet have your student card, you may submit it later.

Important:

If you do not check in by September 30, 2025, your reservation will be cancelled and your long-term deposit forfeited. In justified cases, you may request a new check-in date in writing with the accommodation office of your dormitory – this must be done in writing no later than September 30, 2025.

If you no longer wish to use the accommodation, please contact the accommodation office of your dormitory to cancel your reservation. This will allow us to offer the bed to another applicant.

Our housing assistants are happy to answer any questions from newly arriving students. A housing assistant is a student living in the dormitory who is here to help you get oriented and settled in.

Feel free to contact them at any time!
